To maintain stable and efficient productivity, Norton has established a sound mechanism covering production management, equipment maintenance, personnel training and supply chain coordination to guarantee on-time delivery for orders from home and abroad.
In terms of production scheduling, the company adopts refined order management. The sales, technical and production departments align order information in advance, confirm technical parameters such as door panel specifications, materials and accessory configurations, and complete pre-production preparation to reduce waiting time for adjustments during production. Production capacity is allocated reasonably according to order priority, and shifts are arranged scientifically to balance the production rhythm of standard and customized orders, maximizing workshop capacity utilization.
For equipment management, a regular inspection and maintenance system is implemented. Daily checks and periodic maintenance are carried out on production equipment for slat forming, foaming, coating and assembly to troubleshoot potential faults and reduce downtime. Tooling and fixtures are updated timely, and processing moulds are optimized to improve processing efficiency and product yield.
On the personnel side, a continuous skill training system is built. Regular practical training on craftsmanship, safety and new products is provided for workshop workers and quality inspectors to improve operational proficiency. A reasonable performance appraisal system is in place to motivate the team, stabilize core production teams and ensure continuity of production workforce.
Supply chain collaboration serves as the foundation for stable capacity. The company maintains long-term partnerships with raw material suppliers. Safety stock planning is arranged for core materials including color steel sheets, aluminum alloy profiles, PU raw materials, motors and seals. Material lead times are forecasted in advance to avoid production delays caused by material shortages.
Quality control is placed at the front end of production. Sampling inspections are conducted during each production process to reduce rework of finished products, saving production hours occupied by rework and improving effective output.
With this management system, Norton can flexibly respond to order fluctuations, sustain steady productivity, and deliver reliable and punctual products for domestic and overseas customers.
